Live timing here
A little curious that the Corvettes are all at least three seconds off the pace. The Fords topped the GTE charts until just a bit ago when the Risi Ferrari bagged a 54.5. In P1, the top three are Audi, Porsche, and Toyota, separated by less than half a second. Looking good for an all-time race!

According to a Facebook post I saw the other day, Corvette got hit with the BoP stick. That might have something to do with it.

I’d heard that, but 3-5 seconds is a big damn stick, especially when the Ferraris have been blindingly fast from the outset and remain so.

Yeah, probably was just them warning up. Antonio set a 3:56.775 not too long ago. That’s definitely much closer than before.

Yeah, saw that. They were closer to 4 minutes for awhile, glad to see they clocked something better before the red flag.

Three more nights! Toyota seems doing ok as well. Could be an exciting edition this year!

I can’t wait! FP 2 is on now, Porsche laying it down! I wouldn’t mind a Toyota win at all, they deserve and have had the worst luck over the years.

That they do. I saw them run at Laguna Seca, they sound unusual but they certainly found the speed. Very anxious to see how they do, hopefully they’ve sorted out the issues found at Daytona, but those may have been unique to the banking.
